Neilson Hays Library once again hosted an incredible book sales on the weekend of November 25-26. The untypical Bangkok winter breeze gently swept through the back lawn of The British Club, as book lovers were mesmerised by rare selections of literature. There were also a number of rare photographic books scattered among all sorts of books. My intention for this particular visit to Neilson Hays book sales was to search for amazing photographic books. Inspirations were overload when I managed to find them and brought home more than a dozen.
After spending two hours flipping through piles and piles books, it was time for a little adventure wandering around the back lawn and documenting the book sales. It was a little bit of a challenge to shoot with an 18mm prime lens, meaning there is no zooming in and out. Thanks to an absolutely beautiful and natural sunlight that had inspired me to experiment with contrast and shadows, and with a touch of street inspired photography.
